The vision of the Gulf County Economic Development Coalition is, in collaboration with its stakeholders, to create diverse, stable, and consistent employment opportunities that build wealth and provide better economic conditions for Gulf County.

Working in conjuction with the Board of County Commissioners strengthens the EDC efforts by streamlining communications and allowing easy access to our elected officials for nibble decision making.

Our team effort includes staff working with the nine-member Board which meets monthly in order to stay focused and aspire towards the vision. The Economic Development Coalition goal is to attract and support the best-suited industries to Gulf County while leading the creation of a positive economic development environment.

The EDC is Gulf County's primary point of contact for economic development recognized by local elected officials as well as state agencies and government.

Our Mission is to utilize our team to focus on diverse economy, well-suited industries, stable career possibilities and quality of life.
